Send this video to a tacoma buddy! 🚨 Finally on IG! : @teamoildrop Notes: One user (zacharylechevalier202) reports they could get their 2020 Tacoma into temp check mode without a wire as their truck does not have a live connection in the OBD port 13. They just did the neutral drive back and forth. Furher explained by Toneloke1106: Just a heads up for people with the newer tacomas. It was already mentioned the OBD jump with pin 4 and 13 no longer works because 13 is dead. To get into temp mode I was having trouble until I saw a forum post that said you need to go from P to S back to P while sitting in these gear positions for ~3 seconds each BEFORE doing the back and forth between D and N. This got me into temp mode.
