Basic steps in changing spark plugs. This 10th generation Civic EX had 108k miles at the time of service. The plugs were the original. Engine: K20C2. New spark plugs: NGK LKAR7BIX-11S. It's a good idea to blow away debris with compressed air after removing the engine cover, but before removing the old spark plugs. This prevents debris from falling into the cylinders.
