This engine is used in 2017 - 2021 HONDA CR-V , CIVIC & ACCORD. It is pretty simple and requires minimal tools. The reason replacing this hose is because this vehicle failed a smog inspection out here in California. not all states have smog inspections. States like California, texas, New York a few others require a biannual emissions controls inspection. it's a common issue on this engine that the PCV hose becomes collapsed. if your PCB hose is collapsed it probably won't cause drivability issues however the PCV system is used to vent internal engine pressure so not having an operating PCV system may result in leaking and blown oil gaskets. #hondaaccord #hondacivic #autotech #hondacrv #hondarepair Save some money?
