10mm hex socket, ratchetI'll show you how to quickly and easily do a transmission fluid change drain and fill for your 2.0 Ford Edge. This was done on a 2018 model, however will be the same for any 2.0 Ecoboost Ford Edge and other models with the 6F35 transmission. (Escape, Fusion, Explorer, etc)
You'll need:
One 5qt jug of Motorcraft Mercon LV transmission fluid. You'll only need about 4 quarts.
A 10mm hex socket w/ratchet and extensions
A 7mm socket for the air dam bolts
A 11mm wrench or socket for the drain bolt
Four floor jacks or a lift. The vehicle should be level when you do this.
A scanner to check transmission fluid temperature. It will need to be between 185° - 200° F after fill. Any cheap scanner will show this.
