Remove the screws that hold the bottom cover in and pry the bottom cover out of its place. 2. Use an air blower or compressed air (careful to not have any liquid in the air) to remove dust from the fans and whole bottom area. 3. Disconnect the battery ribbon and power transfer connector. 4. Disconnect all of the ribbon cables from the motherboard. 5. Remove all of the screws and covers on the motherboard. 6. Carefully lift the motherboard out of its place. 7. Remove the old USB-C ports and install the new ones. 8. Reinstall the motherboard, careful not to snag or crush any ribbon cables underneath it. 9. Reinstall the five main screws that hold the mother board in place then tighten them all snug after they're all in their spots. 10. Reconnect all ribbon cables and wires and reinstall the covers over them. 11. Reconnect the battery power. 12. Reinstall the bottom cover and its screws then test for proper function. 13.
