Dell XPS 15 9560 battery replacement

My XPS 15 9560 warranty expired just before the lockdown. The battery bloated during the super hot summer and I could not get a replacement due to the travel restrictions. Finally got a replacement through Shopee after a few cancellations and refunds from other online merchants. 5 months and I finally have a replacement. There have been some issues of the battery exploding or leaking and I'm glad it didn't end like that. My batt life dropped down to just over 2 hours from an average of 5-7 hours on normal usage. For such an expensive piece of tech, battery bloat should have been part of an extended warranty. I hope Dell has fixed the issue with the current XPS lineup. The display, battery life, and performance were what sold me on this. Given the compromise on the thermals due to the slim form factor and the battery issues, these machines are still one of the best performers you can buy.
