We asked our mechanics... "How often should you change your engine oil?" Growing up I was always taught to change your engine oil every three thousand miles or every six months, wh came first. Today, technology has advanced and synthetic motor oil has become the new norm, thereby extending the amount of time necessary between oil changes. However, different manufacturers still have their own recommendations on how often you should change your oil.
