2014 Nissan Altima CVT Valve Body Replacement (FIXED Solenoid Codes… But There’s More)

2014 Nissan Altima CVT acting up? In this video I replace the valve body on a 2014 Altima after getting two solenoid codes and dealing with hesitation going into reverse and drive. The transmission would delay engagement and felt inconsistent when shifting. After scanning it and confirming the solenoid codes, I decided to replace the valve body. In this video I show: • How to drain the CVT fluid • Removing and replacing the valve body • Replacing the fluid strainer and transmission filter • Proper reinstallation and refill procedure Replacing the valve body solved the shifting hesitation and cleared the solenoid issues. Unfortunately, after everything was back together, I discovered the CVT belt was slipping — something I should have inspected more closely before moving forward. Hopefully this helps anyone diagnosing CVT issues on a 2013–2018 Nissan Altima.
