Mobile Mechanic | 2005 Toyota Tacoma A/C Compressor Replacement & Lower Ball Joint Repair

What should have been a straightforward repair turned into one of those days every mechanic knows all too well. First, the replacement compressor turned out to be the wrong part. No big deal, it happens. After getting the correct unit, we ran into another hiccup when the old compressor's sensor wasn't transferred over. To make things even more interesting, the sensor had been left behind at the parts store, so I made a trip to O'Reilly's and pulled it off the old compressor myself. Luckily they still had the original unit sitting there. After getting everything sorted out, the new compressor was installed, the lower ball joint was replaced, and the Tacoma was back on the road with cold A/C and a safer front suspension. Just another day in the life of a mobile mechanic.
