How to replace the water pump on a 2008 Toyota Rav4 with a 2.4L. At idle, this vehicle had a rough bearing noise coming from the engine compartment that changed with engine RPM. By removing the drive belt, I was able to isolate the noise to the water pump. This video demonstrates the replacement of the water pump as well as the associated removal of the drive belt and alternator.
