After sinking my 4runner in. a mudpit, I had a slow start on my 4runner. I replaced the started and it resolved all of the issues! This is a step-by-step on how to replace the starter on a 5th gen 4runner. This is on the OG 5th gen ( 2012) so it could be slightly different on the later models. Please message me or leave a comment with any questions. Id be more than happy to answer. Id recommend watching the whole video before beginning incase you feel it would be easier in a different order. This is the link to the 4runner.com thread that I followed to complete.
