Just a quick video showing how I replaced the rear brake pads & rotors on a 2020 Toyota Highlander with an electric parking brake. It seems to be the quickest and easiest method to simply remove the motor and manually wind the electronic parking brake mechanism back in. Tools Needed: 5mm allen or hex bit T-45 Torx Bit Small pry bar 14mm socket and/or wrench 17mm thin open end wrench 19mm socket or wrench Breaker bar or impact wrench Torque wrench Brake Grease Torque specs I found online: 25 ft. lbs for the rear caliper slide pin bolts and I decided to go with 111 ft. lbs for the Caliper bracket bolts. (I recommend checking that in your manual to make sure that's correct because I wasn't able to confirm that.) Also, it is recommended to replace the Caliper Bracket bolts with new ones from Toyota.
