Baxter Performance makes a spin-on oil filter adapter that is easy to install, it makes your oil filter changes easier and most importantly, it has an anti-drainback valve in it to help the oil primed in the top part of the engine. The 3.6 Pentastar engine doesn't have an anti-drain back vale in it. So about 35 minutes after you shut the engine off, all the oil has drained back into the oil pan. Then when you start it up again, it can take up 3.5 seconds for the oil to reach everywhere it is needed. Now that probably won't cause a catastrophic failure today or tomorrow, but do that time and time again and that little bit of wear could add up and shorten the life of your engine.
