In today's video, we are going to be replacing the valve cover assembly on this late-model Honda Civic vehicle. The valve cover has been leaking some oil over time and so now today we are replacing it. It is best to replace the entire valve cover assembly due to that plastic valve covers on modern vehicles will warp and crack from heat and age. In some cases you may be able to just replace the valve cover gasket itself, but eventually it will be time to replace the entire valve cover assembly sooner or later. The spark plug tube seals on this particular model are not serviceable so if those are leaking you will need to replace the entire valve cover assembly. The valve cover will come with all of the gaskets that are supposed to come along with it if you purchase it from the Honda dealership.
