This guitar in this video was a partscaster/DIY guitar kit and the stock electronics were not too good.
Out go the Chinese pots, switch and pickups and replaced with CTS pots, CRL spring action 5 way switch and push back cloth wire.
Wiring a Stratocaster is actually fairly simple and once you learn how to do it, you can easily change things around or modify your Strat wiring to a different or more exotic setup.
