NoJust released a new video of a fountain review for one that I bought. I would honestly just buy this one and call it a day. Much nicer and easier for the same price. https://youtu.be/MbY1WbRPYbQ
Please keep in mind you are messing with electricity and water, and that you should take the upmost caution when doing so. This means, using properly rated equipment, safety gear, and most importantly a gfi. Don't get yourself or someone else injured. Use water rated cable!
In this video I show you how to make a fountain using easily accessible items, and tell you where you can purchase them.
The pump is a 1/2 hp sump pump. Brand doesn't matter, but I used a Flowtec Floodmate 6000. If I were to do this project again, I would us an actual pond pump that is rated for continuous use. I had the flowtec pump, and that is why I used it. The cost for a high flow pond pump is now more in line with a sump pump, and that is what I would recommend on this side of the project.
Drop any questions that you have below, and I'll do my best to answer them.
Do this project at your own risk, and please note that I am not a professional in any way when it comes to pond fountains.
