DIY Pole Barn Progress Start To Finish

All boards were milled from locally harvested timber by me using an Alaskan chainsaw mill! The total time from start to completion took about 6 months. The upright poles are Short-leaf Pine, all from the same tree. They are charred at the bottom and coated in boiled linseed oil. All of the siding planks, structural beams, and roof supports are Virginia pine. All planks are 1.5 inches thick. Total footprint is 12x12 feet, with a 10 foot high roof in the front, sloping to 8 feet high in the back. Total cost only includes screws, metal roofing, and oil/gas for the chainsaw.
