INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Disconnect the negative terminal. Use a 10mm socket and a ratchet to loosen the negative terminal. 2. Remove the red protective cover from the positive terminal. 3. Disconnect the positive terminal. Use a 10mm socket and a ratchet to loosen the positive terminal. 4. Use a 12mm socket and ratchet with an extension to remove the bolt holding the bracket at the base of the battery. 5. Use the handle on top of the battery to pull it out. Don't drop or tip over the 12-volt battery to prevent acid leaks. 6. Install the new 12-volt battery in the reverse order of removal.
