screwdriver, voltage testerMy remote for my ceiling fan wouldn’t work suddenly. I did a few things to troubleshoot it, which did not work and in the end I ended up replacing the controller with a new one. It was easy and incredibly cheap. I found the controller on Amazon for $13.99 + tax.

It took several days for delivery and if I wanted it quicker, I could’ve paid a little more for a different one. But this one more closely resembled the original one in my ceiling fan. I did run into a little trouble and had to do a wiring fix. But it was easy for me, even as a first timer. I am not a professional and do not recommend you do this yourself.
