In this video I show you how to wire a light switch and GFCI outlet in the same box. Having or adding an outlet to a light switch box is an easy process and increases the utility of any area or room. You may want to buy a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) tester. A proper GFCI tester has a reset-button built onto the top of the GFCI tester. Once the button on the tester is pushed, The GFCI outlet should trip. If the GFCI doesn't trip correctly then there is an issue with the wiring.
