I can’t believe I dreamed up and built this bathroom vanity! ✨ I started with a sketch then built my frame and added my detailing! I added a drawer in the middle for optimal function & built some slide out stools that fold up and store away when they’re not in use. Once the countertops and that backsplash piece went in, I knew we were on the right path! I built SO many drawers for this. Started with 6 long and narrow drawers and ended by building custom drawers to fit around alllll the plumbing. These were easier than I anticipated — build them just like your typical box but measure and cut out the back center so it fits around the drain pipes, water lines, and sinks. Don’t get me wrong— math was involved. But you can do it! I cut down primed pine boards for my fronts that I screwed on from inside the drawer boxes, added the prettiest fluted hardware, and painted it the most beautiful shade of blue — Color: Display by Magnolia lightened 50% in satin. Oh and that stool? I covered an old stool in the fabric from a shower curtain I found and loved — it turned out so cute! CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE IT? I cannot wait to fill it up and organize! #bathroomvanity #bathroomvanities #bathroominspiration #buildyourown #diyfurniture #bathroomdesign #hgtvmagazine #farmhouseish #diybathroom #bathroominspo
